As you may have seen on INSTAGRAM (above) I have been playing around with sewing paper. Years ago I took a class by Mary Ann Moss that taught how to sew pages and make a journal - I do not remember everything from the class, but I sat down and started sewing pages and making signatures
I ended up with 3 signatures that I plan to add into an old book cover while keeping the spine intact (more on that in a future post), but have been journaling in already (even though it is not bound yet). After I did a few pages I realized I should have shown you all the pages before I journaled on them, so my next post will show all the pages I haven't worked on yet.
In the meantime I wanted to share the spreads I have created with you. I am having fun with this, but it is outside my comfort zone to journal this way, which makes it a bit adventurous! I like how it makes me use the bits of ephemera and paper I usually use in different ways.
